A man accused of deliberately backing his SUV toward a trooper following a high-speed chase in November 2008 has been found not guilty of aggravated and simple assault.
A Cumberland County jury returned its unanimous verdicts on Joshua Michael Grimes, 27, of the 500 block of Opossum Lake Road, Lower Frankford Township, after several hours of deliberation this afternoon.
However, the jury did find Grimes guilty of two counts of recklessly endangering a law enforcement officer and one each of fleeing and eluding law enforcement and resisting arrest.
