Attorney Justin Baran is a graduate of Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania where he obtained a B.A. in Criminal Justice. After graduating from Bloomsburg, he attended Widener Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg. While at Widener, he was a Certified Legal Intern with the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office and the York County District Attorney’s Office. Having experience on the prosecution side is important because it allows Attorney Baran to take a holistic view of each case. Knowing how prosecutors think can be the key to securing a great outcome.
Prior to coming to The McShane Firm, he was the Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorable Judge Todd M. Sponseller, Court of Common Pleas Judge for the 39th Judicial District in Franklin County. Working as a judicial clerk is a great source of training and experience. In his time, Justin was able to work on many different criminal cases and see how they were defended, prosecuted, and adjudicated.
Justin is also very committed to continuing education and has recently attended a highly specialized laboratory course at Axion Labs in which he learned about forensic chromatography. With this knowledge, she is equipped to challenge the results of blood tests in DUI and drug cases.

In his free time, Justin enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with his fiancé, Emily and his dog, Zoe. He is currently training to compete in his first triathlon.
