Can I Carry My Firearm in a Casino in PA?

A frequent question we get is something like, “I am headed to Hollywood Casino. Can I carry my firearm there?”

The short answer is legally, yes. There is no law against it and there are no regulations that are enforceable against it. Therefore, it’s just up to the private property owner, meaning the owner of the casino, whether or not they will allow you on their private property if you have a firearm.

If they don’t allow it, and most casinos do not, then they can ask you to leave. If you stay then it’s defiant trespass.

In essence, there is nothing illegal about having a firearm with you in the casino or even in the parking lot inside your car.
